Chocolate Crinkle Biscuitsingredients200g plain chocolate
90g butter
100g sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
200g plain flour
50g icing sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
PreparationMelt butter and chocolate together in a saucepan over low heat. Remove from the heat. Stir in the sugar and vanilla., leave to cool slightly, then beat in the eggs one at a time.
Stir in the flour , baking powder and beat until it forms a soft dough. Cover with glad wrap and chill in the fridge for a few hours.
Preheat the oven to 160.
Sieve the icing sugar into a bowl. Divide the mix into walnut size pieces, roll in icing sugar and place on baking tray. Flatten with a fork and bake for 10-15 minutes.
Cool on a wire rack.
these could easily be made in the thermomix. DD figured the saucepan was easier to wash. This recipe came from a card by Lakeland.
