Christmas Sorbet Recipes

Either Sorbet or Fruity dream method is fine.

I am doing sorbets for Xmas Eve and Xmas dinner - does anyone have any fabulous recipes please?

Hi zebraa, my consultant sent me this list of suggested flavours for sorbets, fruity dreams, juices etc. Haven't tried any of them yet, but maybe it will help?

Bananas (frozen) and frozen milk.
Berries (frozen) and coconut milk (frozen).
Berries, mango & strawberries.
Blood orange with a couple of strawberries.
Coconut milk (frozen) and rockmelon.
Cucumber and mint with frozen coconut
Custard apple and kiwi.
'Fruit salad' - red grapes, strawberries, kiwi.
Green apple.
Green apple & kiwi.
Green apple & mint.
Green apple & passionfruit.
Green apple and strawberry
Green tea (frozen in ice cube trays) & mango.
Jasmine/mango/vanilla - Tea sorbet
Kiwi & lime
Kiwi (skin on) & strawberry
Kiwi and watermelon
Lemon & avocado
Lemon and basil
Lemon lime and bitters
Lemon, orange & fresh pineapple and handful of baby spinach (Shrek sorbet!)
Lime and Purple Basil
Lychee and mint
Mango
Mango and passionfruit
Mango and raspberries
Mango, banana & coconut
Mango, mint and Bacardi
Mango, strawberry & Passionfruit
Mango, strawberry and lemon
Nectarine and raspberries
Nectarine, peach and grape
Orange and mint
Orange and peach
Orange, lemon and strawberry
Pear and ginger
Pear and ginger with dates as the sweetener instead of sugar
Pineapple & chilli
Pineapple & lime
Pineapple & mango
Pineapple & mint
Pineapple and kiwi fruit
Pineapple and orange
Plum and ginger
Raspberry
Raspberry and lime
Rockmelon and mint
Strawberry
Strawberry & kiwi – with dash of coconut cream
Strawberry and raspberry
Watermelon & black pepper
Watermelon & mint
Watermelon and blood orange

Tip:  Add at least half a lemon with most varieties of fresh fruit sorbet to give it that extra lift.

Thankyou deedub! And yes, I think I will be adding some rum to a few - that's a christmas flavour surely?
