Power is out...

Lucky I have a gas stovetop so will just cook dinner on there (chickpea and lentil soup from the women's weekly pressure cooker cookbook). I had breadrolls just about to go into the oven so used the BBQ instead - worked a treat. Tops are a little smokey tasting but other than that you can't tell.
Has anyone else used the BBQ to cook bread?

I have done when my oven was out of action PT. It ends up a bit dark on the top as my weber is very hot, even on low but it does work. It's times like this that you wished your PC was the stove top variety

Yes, I'm glad my PC is a stove top one! Although, the extra safety features of the electric ones is appealing.
