TM Balti Paste and Lamb Curry
Serves 6
1/3 - 1/2 the quantity of TM Balti paste from Fast and Easy Indian Cooking book
1kg lamb pieces
1 cup of yoghurt (I used coconut yoghurt for dairy free)
1/2 tsp salt
water.
In a casserole dish, marinate the lamb with yoghurt and salt for about an hour. Mix the balti paste through the meat and add a little water (and any chopped veggies you feel like adding.) With lid on, cook in the oven for about an hour and half to two hours and stir occasionally and add water if necessary.
Serve with basmati rice and dahl. Yum!
I'm freezing the rest of the TM Balti paste to do this again. This went down well at our house and it's so easy!
