date and time on home page

Am very new to this Forum but loving it and getting lots of helping hints and wonderful recipies, but notice that the date is correct but 8 hours behind local time in Perth   ......  where is this forum based?

You can set your local time on your profile page though

Hi Erica, just received notification that you had reported this post. Judy is correct, the time showing on your home page is from Portugal, which is Greenwich mean time.
If you go to your profile page and bring up, look  and layout preferences ( on the left) you will see forum default in the top box. If you then look down a little you will see time offset. Click in that and change it to an 8.  That will give you the correct time for Perth.

Cookie what do you set for Victoria I have never one this either.

You are 3 hours ahead of us so maybe try putting in 11. See what that says and if it's not right work from there. That will be daylight saving time. You will need to put it back an hour after summer.
