For Foods Sake
« on: February 13, 2013, 04:52:49 pm »
I live in the UK and would like to buy a copy of For Foods Sake by Tenina. Does anyone know if it is available in the UK? I don't fancy paying megabucks to have it posted from Australia.
Or maybe someone here in the Uk has a copy they'd like to sell?

If you contact the publishers Hub and Spoke they might be able to tell you if they now have a distributor in the UK :)

Pete is the guy from Hub and Spoke. He is very nice and I'm sure will be helpful.

Thanks for all your help. I've just had an email from Pete and he says the book is avaiable from the UK, via him, I suppose. I'm sure I saw a list of all the recipes in the book somewhere on this forum, but can't find it now. Could someone point me in the right direction please?

Thankyou Judydawn. So kind of you. These recipes sound brilliant. I think I'll have to invest.
Thanks again for helping. Much appreciated.

Just placed an order for this book. It cost, including postage, just under £38. I'm chuffed with that. Can't wait for it to arrive now.

Oh thanks, I hope so.
I am a fanatic about cookery books. I have about 300 or so already, which I used before I bought the TM.

However, since having the TM, Ive lost interest in a lot of my ordinary cookery books. I love the ones written for the TM and have about 4 now as well as loads and loads of printed sheets with recipes from this wonderful forum.

My TM is about 4 weeks old now and it gets used every day, sometimes several times a day. For instance, today I have made parsnip soup, almond and nectarine tart and two loaves of Chookwoman's bread. That recipe is brilliant and I now use it all the time for my bread.

What a great bunch you all are. I just hope than one day, I will be able to help someone else, like you're all helping me now.
