Thanks JD - does seem like just about everything.  It would be good to have a list like that available.

Michelle Curtis and Allan Campion have published the Seasonal Produce Diary for many years.

They have  website that has a list of seasonal produce http://www.campionandcurtis.com/seasonal.html, but it doesn't have as many varieties as yours.

Nearly died when I saw stack of fresh watermelon in the shop on special - thought that it wouldn't be around until December.

I had planned to do a watermelon dish at the weekend for the Monthly Mouthful.  Next time.  :-))

all those things might in season somewhere right now, but surely what's in season in canberra (still frosts) can't be the same as what's in season in qld or wa! (not having a go at you JD, but the magazine)

Hey brazen - you're right.  But it's a weird world at present - I checked out the produce at the green grocer's on Tuesday and couldn't work out which month it was ....

... but then again ..... that might not be the produce, so much as my brain.   :-)) :-)) :-))

our shop gets mostly local (within 250km) produce so it's mostly seasonal - but they get things like bananas and strawberries from QLD too lol
mind you, i send dh these days, so not much idea what's in there...
