Chilli Cherry Ripe review - in the mix 2 - pg. 166
« on: December 20, 2013, 05:33:21 am »
So simple, so delicious!
Used dried cherries, but craisins would work just as well & old gold dark chocolate.
I only used 1 tsp. chilli flakes, as I wasn't sure if the receivers would like 2 tsp. worth.....but I found that enough for my liking, with a subtle chilli tinge.
It does need to be kept in the fridge.  I spread it out in a lamington pan.

10/10

I'm not fond of chilli and chocolate, but then throw in cherries I could be persuaded.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Thanks Maddy - in my books, chilli and chocolate are a match made in heaven!!  Come to think of it, probably anything and chilli would be a match made in heaven!! ;D ;D

Really looking forward to trying this - just haven't had the time yet - but cheered on by your review thereof!! ;D ;D
