I am just making this cake and thought it might be a help to some people to post the link to the recipe, which was published online last November:

http://www.recipecommunity.com.au/recipes/sticky-lime-cake/28680

I noticed a few tiny differences, eg 95g castor sugar in syrup in online version, Compared to 100g
Milled sugar in the book.

I prefer the online version actually, as it specifies 40g limejuice in the cake, where book only says juice of 2 limes.

I've just popped this cake in the oven, so will let you know what I think in about an hour or so  :)
I used the Devil recipe, but cut the sugar in the cake back to 110g. didn't weigh the lime juice, but the mixture tasted good...I had to lick the bowl  :-))

It's very important to taste as you go.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Well, it took me longer than an hour to reply to this...
My girlfriend came over and we had to have a coffee and a piece of the cake and it gets a big thumbs up from both of us.
Light, moist, yummy!
And it used up 4 limes - which was a good thing as I had picked a whole shopping bag of them up off the ground the day before.
I will be making this one again.  ;D
