Leftover's anyone?
« on: December 28, 2013, 09:53:25 am »
Good morning all,
Yesterday DH and I had a party to celebrate our marriage. We ran away in October and got married abroad, just the 2 of us.
We have so much food and booze leftover, I wondered if anyone had advice on what to do with it?

Food list is:
Double choc fudge cake
Nut mixture
Chicken curry
4 pizzas
10 cupcakes
Half a gluten free choc cake
Vegetable crisps
A variety of cheese

P.S. I'm still full from Christmas dinner!

Congratulations Sparky!   Maybe the best wedding is a 'run away' one.

You have heaps of leftovers - it says fun New Year's Eve party with those you like most!

Congratulations on your marriage Sparky.
I'd freeze what I could. Cakes, curry and even pizza.   Your cheese may keep for a while, or could possibly be frozen. Perhaps one of you may like to take some into work to share.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Wow, I love the pie suggestion! Going to make a go of that this evening.
My parents have took some other bits off our hands too :)

Pies are always good. Freeze most of it, hard cheese you can freeze. Orher cheeses maybe you can make a pasta dish.

Congratulations on the marriage :)
