Had this for a light dinner. Can't remember the name of the bread that the bakery sold me but it was like a flat ciabetta. Got there 2 mins before closing so she sold me 6 x whatever it was ciabetta/panini thingys and threw in a sundried tomato loaf for $2  :o :o :o bargain! Thats why I can't remember what she called it, cos the bargain and happiness overtook my thoughts. Back to the review.... it was delicious! So quick, really tasty, vegetarian, and thoroughly enjoyable. Prefer this to tomato bruschetta I think. Definite 5/5

It's surprising what things excite us CP  ;D  I would have been excited too, love getting things for nothing.

Made this in the morning so hubby could take some to work for lunch. Didn't have sourdough and too lazy to walk to bakery to get it so just used the sliced bread we had. I have to agree that it is delicious and I'm not someone who normally likes beans although lately I have come across some great recipes which hide the flavour of the beans. I just used regular balsamic as I haven't heard of white balsamic vinegar.

Simple, quick and delicious recipe. Went really well with the goats cheese too and I think letting it marinate until lunch helped too.

Here is a picture of just the mixture:
