Katie & I received our books this week and her DH delivered my copy last night. This is the first recipe that took my eye.
I was a bull at a gate and forgot to take out the chopped dates at the beginning but it didn't seem to make any difference to the end product. Lovely taste, only used 1 tblspn maple syrup and it was certainly sweet enough for me, could even reduce that amount I think. Nice touch adding the toasted almonds.
The recipe makes 400g porridge for 2 people but a 100g serve was plenty for me. My breakfast for 4 days sounds even better.
