Chow mein means fried noodles to me - Cantonese dialect for fried noodles, that is.
I was looking at the ingredient list trying to find a packet of noodles

We used to call this particular recipe Chinese Flair back in the late 60's - the recipe was on the back of a packet of chicken noodle soup. It's a good one for kidlets who don't like vegies as there are plenty in it and my kids loved it.
