Cloudy ammonia is awesome for cleaning jewelry,  brings up rings super shiny and new looking  :)
I just get an old water bottle lid, put my rings in it and leave for a few hours, then very gently scrub with an old soft rag or toothbrush,  gets in all the crooks and nannies.....nooks and crannies :-))

I think JD posted her window cleaners recipe: bucket of water, 'splosh' cloudy ammonia, and a bit of dishwashing detergent. Comes up a treat.

Yes always use it diluted BZB.  Here's a warning about using ammonia

Never mix ammonia with bleach or any product containing chlorine. The combination produces toxic fumes that can be deadly. Work in a well-ventilated space and avoid inhaling the vapours. Wear rubber gloves and avoid getting ammonia on your skin or in your eyes. Always store ammonia out of the reach of children.
