I loved the idea of Michelle freeze bags with all the ingredients of a meal.
I had seen something similar on a site I like because it has very interesting recipes for slowcooker.

Do most people brown the meat before putting it into the slow cooker or just put everything in and cook.

With the meals that are prepared and frozen they would go into the slow cooker without browning the meat; I presume from this its not necessary.

Some times I brown meat before putting it in the SC but I don't always.
It depends on time etc.
It is not strictly necessary and tastes ok without browning.
But there is a richer taste if meat is browned first.

For those with the mini slow cooker from Woolworths, how many serves does it make? I'm thinking of getting one just to do an occasional slow cooker meal for the kids.

I find if It's just meat, 4 serves Wonder or 2-3 if meat and vegie dish. Mind you, kids eat larger meals than me.
