oat cakes recipe pls?
« on: November 27, 2010, 05:14:35 am »
Hi all,

I went to the festive class in Willy on Wed night and they had the oat cakes t g with the salmon dip. I bought the festive book and then realised they are not in there. Can someone please share the recipe?

I am happy to post any of the ones from the festive book if anyone has any requests.

TIA.

I have searched everywhere for this recipe Alycia - any idea what book it is in?  I fancy I have seen a picture of it somewhere but just cannot find it.

Ah yes, that's the one - there is a picture too.  Knew I had seen it somewhere, remember thinking they didn't look very appetising  :D :D  Will send you that recipe Alycia.  Thanks Chelsea.

Thanks CC!!  I did see that review a few minutes after I saw the recipe request.  I do have the recipe and it certainly seems simple enough :D

Thanks, too, for reminding me about the Granuesli! :D  Will do that one, too!! :-* :-*

GF, my husband's favourite cake uses lots of oats. I converted his family's recipe for Parkin and posted it on the forum here http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=7280.0;prev_next=prev
It keeps very well so I'm told, but it always disappears quickly in our house

I've ground oats a few times to use as flour. This recipe from CP uses milled oats and is yummy.
