I have made this again as I bought a tray of strawberries at the market. I doubled the recipe, used vanilla paste instead of the bean, and added the chopped apple to the sugar and blended it together until it was pulpy. I then added the strawberries and cooked it together. The first batch I cooked at the ThermoChef equivalent of varoma temp (cook temp) for 35 minutes and then bottled it. It was a lovely pink colour, but very thick. The next two batches, I cooked at 100C for 25 minutes, and then 10-15 minutes on varoma.
