Back again LP.  A lot of us use Snap for saving recipes, you just copy the recipe and paste into snap it's really easy, even I can do,it after failing miserable with other applications.   Sounds like you are a real Foodie , you fit in here very well :D

Judy, I do have one burning question...please move it if it belongs somewhere else, I'm not sure where to ask this. The cooking symbols such as  :: :-: *: ^^, is there anywhere I can find them to use in Pages or Word?
