I use this all the time and add to it whatever I need for the recipe. It's handy and nice.

You'd think after 3 years of cooking with the thermie there'd be no more surprises. Not so.
I made lasagne last night and was surprised at how much quicker and easier it is with the thermie (obviously it's been a while since I've made lasagne ;D
While the mince was browning in the frypan, grated some cheese, then chopped some veg in thermie and added to the mince with tomatoes etc.
Made a double quantity of bechamel sauce from the EDC. By the time that was cooked the meat sauce was ready.
Only took about half an hour to prepare and assemble. Enjoyed a nice glass of wine then tossed together a salad while it cooked. Dinner done.  :)

I only ever use the "Awesome Cheese sauce recipe" these days. We don't use plain bechamel for anything as we find it needs the extra lift of at least a little cheese.

Uni, I normally make the full amount and freeze half, I find it freezes perfectly. Once defrostted I just give it a stir with my wisk and it's perfect. I've had lots of comments from visitors on how lovely it is. I don't always add the full amount of cheese and if we ahve a cheese platter with lots of leftovers I'll make this up and rather than throw out the scraps and freeze the full amount but in two containers.

Tried the bechamel today. Have only made this sauce on stovetop, without a specific recipe.

Sooo easy. No more stirring continuously, and pouring milk to get the right consistency.

My bolognese pasta bake's yummy factor went up a couple of notches because of this sauce 😋😋
