Recipe Review Three Course Meal for Two page 192
« on: October 29, 2014, 07:32:26 pm »
This is a complete for two people consisting of a soup cooking in the TM bowl, rice cooking in the simmering basket,Chicken and vegetables steaming in the Varoma and Apple slices ( or pear) for dessert steaming in parchment in the Varoma tray.Whilst you keep the rice and soup warm you make a sauce to finish off the chicken dish that is then placed in the oven for 20 minutes.
There is quite a bit of prep for this meal but well worth the effort. You need a big appetite too :D :D Plenty for the three of us.
I did add an extra five minutes Varoma steaming time as my rice wasn't quite cooked after 20 minutes.Maybe a bit of extra sauce wouldn't go amiss too.
