I made vegetarian version, using tofu (diced and steamed with all vege) instead of meatballs.  Half recipe is more than enough for family, the whole recipe is good amount to feed the crowd.

Colourful photo Cecilia. Did you make half or full amount?

Hi KimmyH.  Made full recipe.  Stopped the cooking to add the rice, which was steamed from the SS sauce rather than plain water - hence the very red rice.  I made fairly big meatballs and got 10 from the 500g meat mixture.

Made this last night.  Very disappointed.

The meatballs were awful.  No-one would eat them and they got tossed.

The sauce was ok but I needed to add water to make it less like clag.

I ended up having two minute noodles with a spoonful of sauce stirred through.
