Well after 4 days of sitting in hospital going stir crazy with DS (4yo) I can't believe how much I have missed reading all your posts! I also couldn't believe that I have over 4 pages of posts to read through!!!

You better believe it Kathryn, the forum has been very busy.  Have to get yourself a laptop and carry that around with you.  Hope little one is OK now.

DH and I share a laptop (that he needed for work this week) but don't think for a minute that I didn't try and wrangle it off him as the house has 4 other computers in it *blush*  as the older DS's bought there own when the started working part time. We also have mobile internet so I would have been set!

DS is sort of ok now - still a long way back and is on a pharmacy of meds! This bout of pneumonia really knocked him around (and me!! the first night in hospital was hourly observations so no sleep that night  )

I just can't believe I was sitting in hospital thinking...I wonder what is on the forum, what recipes, what disasters, what tips, what laughs am I missing out on lol...

Wow glad to hear the little one is on the mend - hospital with small children sucks! I was wondering where you were.....because I asked you a question in the butter thread about where you get your bulk cream from - ps if you didn't already know my *baby* I mean TMX is ordered and should be here next week...fingers crossed!!

Kathryn, I have given DD2 a list of email addresses to contact if anything happens to me and I was thinking the other day I must add this forum to the list so that everyone knows I have 'gone to a greater place'.

What I find worrying is the little box at the top that tells me how many hours I have spent on this Forum.... I try not to think about how what I might otherwise have been doing in that time 

On the plus side, I've learned so much from being here and found so many good recipes, that I consider it a worthwhile investment of my time.

Glad your son is getting better and I hope you catch up on some sleep soon.

I have mini but good quality internet on my iphone thankfully (I use it often when out or in bed I don't have a laptop- you can tell when I don't reply to threads or they are very short badly written replies I was probably on the iphone)

Totally agree with you about this site being addictive!  It's the main reason I get to bed so late each night!
