Thanks Gert, the warmer weather has definitely set in the last week! I'll be sure to introduce the forum to all my thermie family shortly :)

I only cook for 2! Both myself and the BF work FIFO and are home 2 weeks a month, he's just as excited to use it as I am!

A belated welcome shellshadies. I am from WA but was very impressed with Townsville when we visited a few years ago. I love your look out.

Hi and welcome shellshadies.  I can imagine the fun and the feasts you could produce if you all get together with your TMX's.  My friend and I bought ours at the same time some years back and had fun with both of them on my bench and our husbands cooking prawn risotto for eight of us.  Enjoy
You haven't failed at anything until you stop trying.

Finally received my TM5 a week ago today! Did a quick trip down to Canberra 'Thermie' in tow, my SIL and i cooked up a storm made (not in any particular order) custard, risotto, apple pie, vanilla bean paste, yoghurt, BCB Meatball, Quirky's Chocolate....

Had a fabulous time but very happy to home where it is warm :)
