Ooooh - that sounds good.  One of our staff came in yesterday and said that she had banana smoothie with Kahlua in it and she was so excited.  She is not a foodie and also declared that she saves on cleaning products and saves water by buying take-away !!  Fortunately she was joking

What does the little c mean in your recipes Caroline?  eg mix c 45 seconds speed 6 & c 50g bananas, in pieces.

I assumed it was c = circa = about  - is it shorthand?

Could mean 'about' but not a shorthand symbol as far as I know.  I'm sure Caroline will get back to us on that one.

Yep, it's short for circa (about).  Sorry, thought that was international.  I'm used to seeing it in the UK, and it was in the German recipes I was translating.  What's the international shorthand for it, does anyone know?  Or do I need to stop being lazy and type 'circa'?

I have never heard of the term circa before... may I ask what it means?
