Thanks for bumping this Wonder.  I will have a go at making some this weekend to use over Christmas.  They look and sound great.

I found some of these at the back of the cupboard.  They are months old and still taste great.

going to make these soon as trying to keep DH off bread and gluten free where possible... spelt has some gluten

DJ, the linked recipe looks good. I have to say that the recipe I posted does make a lot but would make again as everyone liked them. Good to make as hostess gift as they keep for ages, like months.
