It was probably my (lack of) accuracy in measuring the chutney. I opened a new jar of chutney which I haven't yet tasted as I didn't have any of the pickle. I also added extra veggies and sprinkled some Parmesan on the mashed potato.
My family loved it and would like me to make it again
