New TM5: stains in the bowl
« on: October 15, 2016, 10:03:40 pm »
Hi,
I've had a TM5 for 2 weeks now. I'm extremely happy. Making lots of use to cook delicious meals.
One thing I've noticed from almost day one, after washing the bowl in the dishwasher I'm seeing stains - they are getting worse.
Any ideas? what do you use for washing the bowl in the dishwasher?

cheers
Yossi.

Hi Yossi, welcome to the forum.  I don't wash my bowl in the dishwasher, I clean it as soon as I've finished cooking in it by adding warm water, a splash of dishwashing detergent and blitzing it on speed 5 for 30 seconds.  I tip the water out to see if it needs further cleaning and if it looked like yours I would use some gumption cream cleanser on it.  You can use something like a scrubby to help lift stubborn marks.  I buy mine from here but they are available all over the place nowadays.   http://thermomix.superkitchenmachine.com/collections/best-pot-scrubber/products/super-scrubbies-bulk

Welcome Yossi. I do exactly the same as Judy. I always wash my bowl immediately. I find that is one of the perks of the thermomix. Lots of cooking and very little washing up as I do the bowl as I go. I love the scrub ise, they seem to lift anything.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.
