Just got a TM5

Hello world!

Just got our Thermomix Wednesday.  Already tried steaming a fish. It's so nice to have a way to actually steam easily.  Next up,  as it's Pascha (Easter), I'm trying some of mother's recipes in the beastie.

Hello Kevin, welcome to the forum. It sounds as if you have plenty to look forward to, especially if your Mum is a great cook.  I love the steaming capabilities of the machine too.  We look forward to hearing what you've been converting and cooking up in your new machine.

Welcome Kevin. Owning a thermomix opens the doors to so many exciting cooking adventures. Have fun and share it with us. I'd love top know how you go with your Mum's recipes.

Well, I steamed a fish and made this egg custard you hang like a cheese - yesterday and it was a ton easier than doing it like Grandma did on the stove.  Next up bread dough...

I hope it goes well Kevin. Bread is my favourite thing to make, or any yeast doughs. I plan to make some more Hot cross Buns today.
