Hi Jo,
What things do you like to cook? Try cooking something each day.Its doesn't have to be a full recipe, maybe just steaming eggs, chopping onions or making a smoothie. Once started you will be surprised how you reach for your TM to help you.
Do you have anyone near you who owns a TM so you could have a cooking session together? Or maybe have a Demo and get to know your local advisor.

Hi Jo and welcome to the forum. You will find heaps of recipes, help and ideas on here. Many of us have TM31s - myself included - so always feel free to ask questions and most time you will get support from a fellow member.

Hi Jo, welcome to the forum. The majority of our members still have a TM31 and therefore you will find most of the recipes on here are for that model. Check out our recipes, you will find the reviews most helpful and if you have the early TM books, our recipe book review section will also be very helpful. Thanks for joining us and we look forward to you sharing your experience with us.

Hi Guys.
Thank you to all those who responded to my introduction, and thank you for your offers of advice.
I may well take you all up on your suggestions, ideas and recipes. Good to know others still have the TM31 also.
Thanks again
Jo

I had to buy a TM5 in order to be a consultant but, with the exception of the Nokia-suggestive screen, I REALLY like my TM31. In fact, I specifically shopped for a TM31 when I could finally afford my Thermomix and plan to keep using the older machine at home and use the TM5 (which obviously, I'll need to know backward and forward) for demos . You've got an excellent machine and this is a nice forum.

Welcome Jo and thank you for the lovely words about the forum MacGuffin.
I have a 31 as well as a 5 and I have to admit that they are often both in use. I have the 31 with me at the moment in the caravan. It's very useful.
