Perth Newbie
« on: September 12, 2009, 04:10:33 am »
Hi Everyone,
I've had my Bimby for nearly 12 months and absolutely love it. I wish I'd had the time to surf the net when I first got it as I would have discovered this forum earlier. I have lurked around here for a while and have tried some of your fantastic recipes but until now haven't had the courage to reveal myself. :-\ My 11 yr old son also loves the Bimby and has taken "ownership" of the pancake cooking for our weekend breakfasts. He and I now refer to everything that comes from the Thermomix as "Bimby specials". Even the dog has benefited with treats made with it. I particularly love being able to "hide" vegies in the dishes we make (thereby tricking my 15yr old teenage boy who considers everything green is "toxic").
I am hoping to be able to contribute to the forum but doubt I have the skill level of many of you.
Jan.  Perth,  Western Australia

Oh Jan, don't worry! Not all of us have high skill levels (grief I am one of those people that can't throw anything together in a kitchen with out a recipe lol) BUT we all have experiences and different knowledge to share about the Thermomix, so please do share and join in with us ;D ;D

Hi and finally a bit welcome to you Jan - glad you have outed yourself ;D ;D  I'm just like Faffa 70 (only twice as old :-)) :-))) and I'm going great guns with my TMX.  If you cook something and like it Jan, let us know as we'd probably like it too.  Sharing is what we do here and without this forum my TMX would hardly have ever been used. This is certainly the place to be  ;) ;)

Welcome Jan. Like Judy I thank this forum for my extended use of the TMX.
