Soon to be TMX owner in Brisbane
« on: September 21, 2009, 12:11:37 am »
Hello Everyone,

My name is Sharon and I live in Brisbane.  I am impatiently awaiting the arrival of my TMX which should be later this week.

I have been reading all I can about it and printing out recipes to try, just wish it was here already....

Thank you all for the wonderful recipes and hints and tips I have already found on the site, but no doubt will have a few silly questions when I start experimenting myself.

Looking forward to chatting to you all.

Sharon

Hi Sharon, welcome to the forum.  You will find lots of friendly, very funny people on this forum.  Not a day will go by without a good belly laugh and you will find questions will get answered very quickly indeed.  As Thermomixer said, no question is silly - there are probably others out there wanting to know the answer to a question as well.  Hope you will start cooking and posting reviews as soon as you possibly can. In the meantime, keep reading - there sure is plenty of stuff to get through on this forum.

Hi Sharon, We are all thermomix nutters here and I have yet to see a silly question. We may do some silly things at times but what fun we have talking about our risks and failures and,of course, our wins with this magical machine. Enjoy and don't be afraid to share.

Welcome Sharon to the crazy mixed up world of the Thermomix forum. Everyone here is so helpful and there isn't a day goes by that I don't learn something from it.
We look forward to hearing about your successes and of course the failures that we all have.

Agree with others, even the best have failures and as long as you know why it failed you can either learn from it or never make it again. You will definitely have a lot of fun with your machine and will be amazed at how you too will sound like us crazy TMXFM people soon  ;D

Hi Sharon and welcome.

I'm also another Brisbanite....so nice to have someone else around.  Just a hint...if you are going to make butter with your thermomix...find your closest IGA.  Pure cream is cheaper there by about one dollar than at Woolies or Coles.

Enjoy your new toy...I love mine even tho I haven't had time to use it for a week...gotta love working long hours....NOT

Have a great day
