At my demo, the brown rice was ground & the milk used was rice milk. It turned out very well & was tasty though a bit gritty. This is Ok for me on a wheat & corn free diet. The standard recipe was used with these adaptions.

Welcome win - let us know a bit more about yourself.  I wonder if soaking the rice overnight would help reduce the grittiness - others who need to make rice milk may be able to help.
