don't know what granulated fish stock is - but would presume that with only 1 tablespoon whatever is used is not going to make too much difference? Agree or disagree?

Hello CreamPuff
I hope I can explain this - lol -  :)
It's like bouillon cube but grainy.
Sometimes I put it in cube too  and serves perfectly!
lt makes a difference - since it gives a better flavor of the fish!
Hope I have helped 8)

Sounds like a dish we had last night with smoked trout instead of salmon - don't think that the fish stock would be needed - didn't need extra flavour last night (although I thought about making some stock from the skin and bones of the smoked trout !!)

Thanks again Isi - love your recipes - they are simple and great for everyone (unlike most of mine  :( ;D )
