Thanks for the tip on the cordial! Will give that a go this morning. I don't think we're far from our trees season being over. I need to make another batch of jam too. The last batch I couldn't get to wrinkle on the plate like ususal (cooked in my saucepan) and I think I overcooked it. There is no hope of it falling out of the jar it is very solid. Are there any other ways you test if jam is ready? The boys are loving the jam though.
