Hello from Perth (another one)
« on: December 05, 2009, 01:45:58 am »
Hello   :)

I recognise some of the names here already. I just ordered my Thermomix yesterday and am now (im)patiently waiting for it to arrive.

I have three children (7, 3 and 1) and lots of friends recommending Thermomix! We are moving in January, to a house with a smaller kitchen, which was the final impetus  I needed to insist we purchased a Thermomix. I cook most things from scratch to try and avoid additives.

Hi Georgie, welcome to the forum.  Yes, you are right - you will need a TMX if you have a smaller kitchen.  Hope you have a place on the bench for it - it hates being put away in a cupboard  ;) ;) ;)  Now you've got plenty of time to browse through our recipes and pick out those you want to try first - good luck, there are so many good ones on here.

Welcome Georgie!! Meagan's steered you in the right direction leading you here! ;)
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.
