Hello, I received my TM as an early Xmas present from dear hubby.  It arrived a week before Xmas.  Had lots of encouragement from my lovely consultant.  So far have made pumpkin soup, mushroom soup, mushroom risotto, melting moments and LOTS of ice-cream and sorbets (lemon, mango, lychee, strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, green apple) and for all the chinese out there...red bean ice cream too.  YUM!

My baby is quite young and still sleeps a fair bit.  That would normally be a good thing  :D but when it comes to using the TM, it wakes him when on higher speeds.  :'(  So I have been trying to only use it when he is awake (which isn't long)...I've been finding myself rushing madly through recipes, and if I want to make more than one thing, I have to work at an insane speed and usually the most inconvenient and time "wasting" part is washing and drying the TM.  Does anyone know if I can get a 2nd TM bowl so that I can make more than 1 thing and then save all the washing up for baby's sleep time?
Thanks in advance.  Happy New Year to all!

You certainly can shopperviv - just ask your friendly consultant.  Must be hard for you having to work around the baby - when he's awake he needs you too.

Welcome shopperviv - just had a baby in the house for Christmas and so know your dilemma.  As JD says - ask your friendly consultant - they are about $395 ??

Hi Shopperviv,   Congrats,  you have 2 new babies in the house both wanting your attention.    Looking at what you are cooking,(much the same as I did when I first got mine 3 months ago), you probably dont need to do much more than give it a good rinse out between recipes.  I've found that the bottle brush for babies bottles is excellent for cleaning the bowl.

And if you can plan the order of what you're doing, even a rinse isn't always necessary.
Eg I whipped cream, scraped the bowl, and then made a dip.  No rinse necessary.  But if I'd done it in the opposite order, it would have needed a thorough clean.

I've got two toddlers and find I have to plan milling grain, crushing ice, some high speed chopping eg cheese and chocolate.  Apart from that, they sleep through fine.

It is hard with little ones and the noise.  I have found that my two tots have adjusted to the noise over time and now rarely wake up.  I do sometimes wrap thermie in beach towels if I am going to do something really noisy (chopping nuts, ice etc) and that seems to dull it a little.  It is awful when you wake your sleeping bub!!! :)
