Mushroom and Tuna Sauce (with photo)

Name of Recipe: Mushroom and Tuna Sauce
Number of People: 4

Ingredients:

For 320g pasta
15g parsley leaves
3 cloves of garlic
30g extra virgin olive oil
250g mushrooms, sliced
400g canned diced tomatoes
1 can tuna fish, drained (1 can = 160g gross weight, 100-110g net)
Salt
Freshly ground black pepper

Preparation:
    * Chop parsley for 5 seconds on Speed 7 and set aside half of it. Scrape down the sides of TM Bowl with spatula
    * Add oil and cloves of garlic. Cook for 4 minutes at 100ºC on Speed 1
    * Remove cloves of garlic. Add mushrooms and cook for 4 minutes at 100ºC on Reverse / Soft Speed
    * Add tomatoes and salt. Cook for 20 minutes at 100ºC on Reverse / Speed 1
    * Add tuna and cook for 5 minutes at 100ºC on Reverse / Speed 1
    * Mix sauce with boiled-drained pasta in a pan for 1 minute on the stove
    * Serve into plates. Sprinkle with parsley and freshly ground pepper

Farfallina, do you add the garlic back into the dish at any stage or is it just for flavouring before discarding it?  Also you haven't added the tuna to the sauce at any stage.  I presume that is added after step 4.

I skipped 1 step
I correct it right away

Garlic was just for flavouring. I didn't add it back in the sauce

I made half quantity of this recipe for the current challenge.  I used a 95g can of sweet chilli tuna (quite spicy), did use the whole can of tomatoes and used 1 large clove confit of garlic and the oil from same.  A nice, easy meal to rustle up, especially when you have rice in the freezer. ;) Thanks farfallina.

Serving it with rice is a great idea judy
Recently I've been using brown rice and i find it needs stronger flavoring than white rice
This can be one of the good options as sauce
