Quark Cheese

This week I made Isi's philly cheese  .  I managed to find some quark cheese, but looking at the ingredients I am wondering if quark is just another name for yoghurt cheese.  Does anyone know if they are the same? The quark was very expensive and it would be great if I could make my own.  Thanks
