Pasta Fagioli
« on: January 17, 2010, 07:19:23 am »
Ok, needing some help here my lovelies  ;) ;) ;) ;)

Have a demo to do this week and my customer is allergic to chillies but wants to do Pasta Fagioli....I fear this is going to be really bland - will probably make it tonight (thank goodness my family like it lol) without to see what it was like but am looking for suggestions to ooomph up the recipe a little for the demo. Any ideas???

(oh and don't say make something else.....have been there lol)  :)

i don't ever use the chillis, thanks to kids who can't tolerate heat! i usually add in a carrot and double or triple the garlic, and if your host likes parsnip i LOVE a parsnip in it :D

Hang the host!!! I LOVE parsnip (though only 1 other in the house does!!)

Carrot would be a good option too thanks Karen  ;D, had already thought of more garlic (I already double it lol)

Happy to hear you make it without though and I know you make it about as often as I do for the family  ;) ;)

Just some extra herbs and plenty of black pepper and she'll be fine
