Hi from another Newbie!
« on: March 31, 2010, 07:58:22 am »
Hi there, my name is Beth. I am a new Thermomix owner, live in SA, have 3 children, aged 10, 6 + 4...
I work parttime as an ED nurse and have my own business from home..
Oh and we are renovating  :D
These are the main reasons DH and I decided to purchase a Thermomix, I am time poor!! and we wanted to provide good, healthy food for our family...

Welcome - it is great for time poor people as long as they don't spend all day on the forum.  ;) ;D :-* :-* :-))

Welcome Rosey. Thermomixer is SO right. This forum is addictive, but we can say we're looking for something to cook for dinner.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Hi Rosey, welcome to the forum.  Where abouts in SA do you live?  Sounds like you have plenty on your plate at the moment - have you had a chance to do much with your TMX yet.  Enjoy the forum, it is a great place to be - a lot of us spend too much time on here but we just can't help ourselves.

Welcome Rosey. Yes, I can understand the forum addiction!!
Of course, I'm not addicted.....
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Hi Beth,

My wife was always complaining I spend too much time on the Internet, but that was when I used to spend all night playing online games. I don't do that anymore but still probably spend more time on it than I should. At least I didn't get addicted to Mafia Wars like SWMBO!! :)

welcome aboard!!
I'm in SA too... Mount Osmond (15minutes from the city but with hills views... and temperatures!!)

You might not get much renovation done with a TMX in the house now..... ;)
