I've made the cheese before farfallina.  It has a strong yoghurt tang (as you would expect), but we quite liked it.  I'm not sure how it would go in a cheesecake.  Worth a try I guess.  :)

You made it already? Do you remember how many grams came out of 2 litres milk?
If it's not at least 400g, I don't know if it is worth to work cos I'd have to do it twice
Who knows, by the time I make it maybe you would make cheesecake as well! :)

Yoghurt Cheese is great - can be made into savoury or sweet.  I add some honey and spread it on bread for my two girls instead of the fake spreadable cheese.  Or the cheeseballs are delicious marinated in sweet chilli sauce, or other dip flavours.

Haven't made it for a while, but the result is less than half the original amount of yoghurt.
