TM21
« on: June 07, 2010, 10:51:03 am »
:)  Hi, does anyone know if the TM21 is supposed to have the varoma dish with it.

I received Mums today, and it has the butterfly, and steamer, and the instructions are on CD in german.
I can teach her how to use it, no worries.

Or could I use my TM31 varoma dish on a TM21.

Thanks,
Robyn

Yes - it's stainless steel and the varoma is the steamer.  :-\ Unless you're talking about the basket?? That is stainless steel too isn't it. There are Varoma kits I've seen on Ebay for the TM21.  ;)

It should have come with the Varoma and rice basket, just like the TM31 does - but you can use the TM31 Varoma on it.

I got my TM21 in 2004 and I didn't get a rice basket with mine, but did get the Varoma.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

You probably already know this in the UK - I only just found out - that there is new larger capacity Varoma dish on offer over the site. It's interesting to note that the UK site offers an interesting range of extras for the internet (moulds, etc.) which Germany doesn't. I've written to ask the Vorwerk company over here why this is. I also took the opportunity to ask them why they don't stock the British and Australian cookery books. Of course, I already know the unofficial answer. They would be too much competition for the German books with their maximum of two recipes on each page, loads of photos, fewer recipes than the foreign counterparts. But perhaps that's me just being mean :-))
