New to the Forum and Thermomix
« on: June 11, 2010, 11:13:47 pm »

I saw the machine in action about a year ago but trying to convince the OH that I NEEDED this was another story.  This time I decided to have a demo at home and when I knew he was home - he was signing up before the lady had even packed the machine away.   ;D

So here I am with my new TM delivered this Wednesday afternoon and since then I have made 2 lots of bread, arrabiata, spag bol, red Thai paste and curry, rice, soup and the chocolate spread for the 'Boy'!  I am really looking forward to the next three days off so I can really get to town on it - I have printed out many recipes to use so look forward to a weekend in the kitchen!

Welcome Hebe, what a wonderful weekend you are going to have.  You made the right decision having your demo whilst OH was at home, it gets them every time.   You have done really well in such a short time so I can't wait to see the list after this coming long weekend. Have fun, so glad you found us - you will enjoy it here too.

Good to have the old boy on side. Mine didn't come around until I made him lots of yummy treats. He was very anti when I first bought it, but recently an insurance man was visiting and asked about it.  He wanted to know if it was worth and did I use it much. DH said that I used it all the time!
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.
