Hmmm... are you a sufferer of "orthorexia nervosa"...?
« on: June 30, 2010, 01:07:31 pm »
This is a funny story.  It would seem that many of us "health conscience" nuts actually have a mental disorder (Quirky Jo you're top of my list LOL  ;) :D :D :-*)

They actually have a bit of a "automatic name generator" on that website so you can "create" any new disorder - all tongue  in cheek!

Yes em, would much rather be diagnosed with orthorexia nervosa than put up with that rubbish and deal with the heath consequences.

This is one diagnosis that I would love to have!  Working hard at it, most of the time.

I think my parents and in-laws would definitely plant this on me - they try to be supportive or at least bite their tongues most of the time.  But also think I'm going a tad over-board.

Brilliant!

You're right Tebasile, you can't beat your drum too much outside.  I remember at the demo I went to when I bought my machine having to listen to all that spiel about cooking from scratch, no preservatives etc - it held no interest for me at all.  All I wanted to see was the machine in action and taste the food (as I'm sure most people do). We have not been big eaters of junk food in this house anyway but I believe I have become even healthier than before because of the influence of this forum and the machine's capabilities.
