Will the Thermomix be at The Good Food and Wine Show?

I'm off to the Perth Good Food and Wine Show today. I'm curious to see if the TMX will be there. It wasn't last year and I was a little disappointed. It would be lovely to see it being promoted there.
Will let you know when I get home.

a bit behind here - kids have been sick, but just checked my emails and found this that was sent to consultants ...
We are very pleased to announce that two Thermomix’s have been requested to be used at the Good Food and Wine Show this weekend at the Perth Convention Centre! Both Manu Feildel and George Calombaris will be using the Thermomix in their classes over the weekend!
so yes it will be there

Well I had a great time, eating and drinking my way round and round and back again.
I went to see Gary Mehigan and George C. George did indeed use the TMX, the first time to blend beetrot and fetta for a dip type of thing and the second time was for blending again.(he made hummous) They only flew in this morning and George had trouble closing the lid of the TMX the first time he used it. He and GAry are producing a book that will come out later in the year. They both take similar ingredients and make something with them, and this is what they demonstrated today. They spoke about Masterchef a fair bit.
ILB I tasted lots of Brown Brothers wines, I knew you would want me too!
I would have liked to attend a cheese masterclass but there were none on today.
I also saw my very first truffle. They smell beautiful. I did buy some truffle oil and look forward to using it.

LOL!! I saw the title of the thread (and I admit I have had a glass of wine - BB of course
) and immediatly thought I must tell you to go to the BB stand and say hello to Catherine (she works with me - a gorgeous girl!). So glad you made it to our stand
Hope you managed to find a new discovery
Actually on a side note, year ago (Before DD) I worked at the Sydney Good Food & Wine show and by the end of the day it was disgusting how drunk the young ones were. We had to empty the spitoons in the bathroom and well as you can imagine that area became disgraceful as the day went on
So glad you had a good day and that George demo'd with the Thermomix too. Hope he said some good words about it.

Sounded like you had fun today Cookie. I can imagine a whole bunch of us girls going to something like that and leaving the men at home - it would be a real hoot. Bet you wanted to get up on stage and help poor George close his lid Cookie.

I was hoping that George would say has anyone a Thermomix and could they please come and close this-but he didn't. I was quite near the front too.
He and Gary were very funny, the had a few nice digs at Matt Preston and took him off.
ILB I remember your friend, there was only 1 girl on the BB stand and one guy. She was lovely. I tried a red and wasn't fond of it as I don't really like reds (except Cienna) and then I tried a pink bubbly one, can't remember it's name, but it was nice. I prefer whites and of course Moscato's and I like Rose too.
I know what you mean about people being drunk. I arrived at 10.10am and girls/women were tucking into the wine then. After I had seen G & G I had a few tastes and some of the women then were rather tipsy.

good one cookie1 - one of my nurses is addicted to Cienna. Shame Gary & George didn't invite you to help - could have shown them a thing or two with the Thermomix. Gary didn't know much about it last October when I saw him.
