Welcome Jackiew. You have made a giant step by taking Thermie out of the cupboard. Cookie has given you great advice- use it at least once a day for a few weeks and in no time it will be second nature to use it. Well done on your progress so far.

Hi JackieW, now that you're here, I'm sure you'll be constantly inspired by new recipes.

How about Blitz & Bake Beetroot & Chocolate Cake?  Or Chocolate & Beetroot Brownies?

Sounds like a strange combination, but comes highly recommended.

Glad to hear you're getting to grips with your thermomix now.  You'll soon wonder what you ever did without it.  Whereabouts in Kent are you, by the way?  I'm in Bromley, if you ever wanted to get together for a cooking session.
As my picture shows, I've suddenly become younger :-)  DD was of the opinion that her picture should be here, not mine!

Had a glut of peas in the garden, some of them had gone a bit hard, so made the Thermomix Pea and Mint Soup Recipe (didn't have any mint though, but might add it later or leave it out altogether ... either way, it's fab and was soooo easy!!!  Thanks everyoen for encouraging me to get my TMX out of the cupboard!!  ;D
