No, can't say I've tried beating just one but I can't see why it wouldn't - I guess you should just give it a whirl and see.
I know curiosity killed the cat but....why one???

I did ages ago as Chelsea suggested with 37 degrees, Speed 4 to see if it was possible. It did work, but I generally use a hand beater or my Bamix for small amounts of egg whites

I did this today as I was making some icing that required 1 egg white beaten until it was white and fluffy. It wasnt a TMX recipe, and TBH it didnt even occur to me that it might not work in the TMX. I just chucked the egg white into the bowl and turned it on speed 4 with the doovy thing in (gosh.. name escapes me... the plastic beater thingo LOL). Took about 2 min and it was nice a fluffy.
My egg white was already at room temp so I didnt turn on the temp function.

Sometimes it is thingy and sometimes it is whatsis Judy. Sometimes I actually have to describe what the word does like the thingy is the thing that sits on the blades and goes whisk whisk.

It's frustrating when you can't think of a word Gretchen. I even forgot the name of my favourite wine the other night so had to google Brown Brothers to find out what it was. I don't mind forgetting some words but not that one
