These are some very tasty sandwiches. I modified a recipe in Italian EDC a little bit and this one came out. Since then I often make them. I hope you like
Wholewheat RollsIngredients:250g milk
20g fresh yeast
10g sugar
200g wholewheat flour
350g all purpose or bread flour
60g extra virgin olive oil
1 egg
10g salt
1 egg yolk, slightly beaten
Poppy, nigella, sesame seeds
Preparation: * Warm milk for 1 minute at 37°C
* Add yeast and sugar, mix for 4 seconds on Speed 4
* Add wholewheat flour. Sift in all purpose flour.
* Add oil, egg and salt. Knead for 4 minutes
* Get pieces from dough, roll and place them in oven tray which is preciously covered with baking paper
* Let them rise for 1 hour
* After risen, brush with egg yolk and sprinkle with poppy seeds, sesame or nigella as you wish
* Bake in preheated oven at 180°C for 20 minutes
