I adapted this recipe from one that a school mum submitted to our school cookbook fundraiser.
Malteser Biscuits
Makes approx 50
Ingredients
250g butter, softened
70g white sugar
70g brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 tin (approx 200g I think?) condensed milk
2 tsp vamilla essence
165g maltesers
300g SR flour
75g plain flour
Method
Preheat oven to 180deg. Place butter and sugars in TM bowl and cream on Speed 4 for 2-5 min or until butter is light and pale, you may need to stop the TM and scrape the butter mixture off the sides of the bowl half way through. Once creamed continue to run the TM at Speed 4 and add the condensed milk and vanilla essence through the lid and cream for 1 more minute at speed 4. Add the maltersers and mix for 5 sec at speed 5, this will roughly chop them at the same time. Add the flours and fold through by mixing at reverse speed 3 for 20 seconds. Roll mixture into walnut sized balls and place onto baking trays allowing room for biscuits to spread. Gently press the bisuits with the back of a fork, spoon or your fingers to flatten them slightly. Bake 12-15 minutes. Stand for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool.

CP - I made half the condensed milk recipe myself and didn't follow it properly, then I didn't weigh it in as I was making them (too busy tasting the mixture). Biscuits tasted great but I think I can do a better job next time/week.
