Profiteroles!
« on: September 19, 2010, 06:50:52 am »
I made profiteroles yesterday!!!!! using CP63's recipe (thanks again for the link JD!). And they worked - & they taste really good!

None of you can possibly comprehend just how unusual & out of character this is for me. I have zero confidence with cooking. I dislike it immensely, but the reality is, as with most of you, it has to be done, but it's always been such a chore :( ..

And that's what led me to finally buy a TM. I love how it measures! I love how it will cook & stir on its own! I love how simple it is to use! I love how the cleaning up is so minimal. I love how it can make what I normally wouldn't even attempt, achievable.

Now I feel passionate & have more confidence to try to cook things. It's really, really great

Ok, ok, I feel like an evangelist! Enough!!  ;D

Well done salval. The vibes of love are coming through and gone are the days of you being a low confidence cook all because you made the decision to buy this wonderful machine.  You will amaze yourself in days to come with what this machine can produce and you will love being in the kitchen, cooking is no longer a chore as you have discovered.  8) 8)

A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

I love profiteroles with chocolate sauce.  :-* :-* It's a 'sometimes' food in this house. For guests only. I must use the TMX next time.

I agree -  I actually think the tmx is best for people who DON'T love cooking! Looking forward to your future adventures.
